Sarah from @mynorthernabode was looking to give her bathroom an understated refresh to keep the neutral country theme of her wider home running through her bathroom. Looking to add storage and shaker styling, Sarah knew had a clear vision in mind for her new space, and wanted it to be a welcoming space for guests and family.

Due to plumbing requirements, Sarah wanted to keep the existing layout for ease and to keep costs manageable. The shower enclosure and location of the WC were to remain in the same place, whilst Sarah wanted to swap out the pedestal sink for a furniture unit for added storage and style combined. After browsing the brochure, Sarah knew she wanted to go for the Vitoria furniture range in a neutral finish, and traditional brassware for a timeless look.
The Result
Faced with a relatively small layout, Sarah opted for a cloakroom furniture unit as this fit perfectly in her space. Taking the Vitoria furniture as the focal point and centrepiece for her theme, she added complementary panelling to the walls, emulating the shaker styling of the furniture unit. After selecting chrome as her brassware finish of choice, Sarah chose our Marston basin taps for a combination of classic and contemporary. Paired with statement floor tiles in a neutral finish for added interest, her new bathroom feels peaceful, airy and pared back - perfect for the family home.
